In order to use the extensions in PowerWash Simulator, please ensure you have purchased the right type of extension, which can be found in the Equipment section of the shop. Please note that the extension model has to match your gun model, i.e. if you're using a Prime Vista 1500 washer, only the Prime Vista 1500 extension can be equipped with it.
To equip, once you are in a job in the game, tap the equipment icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen. With the correct washer selected, please tap the extender slot (the one to the right of the washer one), and you should now be able to choose the corresponding extender.
