Known Issues

Information about the latest fixes:

PWS2 - Star Wars DLC + 1.3 Update and Bug Fixes

We’re aware that some players are currently running into the issues listed below, and our team is already investigating or working on fixes.

There’s no need to contact Support about these specific problems - it's already on the radar, and the team is working on improvements.

All/Multiple platforms

- Dirt isn’t cleaning.

Your specs may be lower than recommended. Please check these against our recommended specs here: Minimum and Recommended System Requirements for PowerWash Simulator

- Unable to unlock the Door Lord achievement in Adventure Time DLC.

Workaround:

- Clean all 3 doors, door windows, and doorknobs.

- Do not include the door frames, as this will prevent the achievement from being earned.

- Please make sure to complete the achievement in one session, as it won't unlock otherwise.

- Unable to unlock the Oh My Glob! achievement in Adventure Time DLC.

Workaround:

- Clean the handbag last with the cage door closed, making sure you're not inside the cage when finishing cleaning the handbag.

- Complete the achievement in one session, as it might not unlock otherwise.

- Gnomes sometimes cannot be placed on a scissor lift, which can make it hard to complete the Rise and Shine achievement.

Workaround:

- Try fully raising the lift first, and then placing the gnome on it

- Try using other gnomes, if there are more than one (for example, in the Teapot Tea Room job)

- Try re-starting the job by going back to the Home Base

- Try a different job with a scissor lift and a gnome available

- Thumbstick sensitivity and movement issues since the 1.2 update.

Workaround:

- In‑Game Settings > Gameplay, scroll to Stick Dead Zone, and set it to 0.

- In the same menu, adjust controller stick sensitivity values.

- The mouse cursor is stuck in the middle of the screen, making it impossible to accept the EULA.

Workaround: Please unplug any unsupported or additional devices that are secondary to the main input and make sure you are using supported controller devices.

- The navigation equipment height restrictions can render it impossible to place, depending on its previous placement height.

Workaround: Placing it on a level closer to the desired level first should fix this.

- Game runs in slow motion when set to Windowed mode with non-1080p resolution.

- Star Wars DLC: EG-6 Droid can duplicate when host finishes cleaning it right after helper loads in.

- The game can crash when the GPU is consistently above 90% utilisation.

- Switching between window Mode and Resolution may cause game to show grey screen on launch.

- Scissor lift SFX keep playing if a job is swapped in multiplayer while it is being raised. 

-  Second player's task list displays tasks from the previous job instead of the current one.

- If helper player uses soap while host player is swapping the jobs, the game will crash.

- If helper player picks up a ladder while standing on it, it becomes stuck in their hands. Likewise, helper and the host picking up the equipment at the same time will result in being unable to place it.

Workaround: Restarting  the session should fix this. 

- Semi-transparent graphical patterns can be visible.

Workaround: Disable or change SSAO settings. You should be able to find this in the Video settings tab in the in-game settings.

PlayStation 5

- DualSense controller plays sounds when Wireless Controller Speaker Volume is set to 0

- Player 1 controller vibrates/plays sounds when Player 2 is performing actions

Switch 2

- The game might sometimes crash when closing the menu after waking the console.

- Surface Cleaner can crash the game when rapidly switching nozzles and spraying water.

- Crash can occur after leaving game idle in a multiplayer session for a period of time. 

- Furniture may disappear from Home Base or UI menu when reloading the game with poor internet connection. 

- Triggering the strike animation in the Bowling Alley may cause game to crash. 

- Prolonged soap use of soap for all players in multiplayer can lead to session closing itself. 

Workaround: Switching between nozzles slowly while using the SwirlForce and spraying water will help to avoid this.

- Player is unable to use touchscreen controls to navigate the menus on Switch 2.

Xbox Series X|S

- Social (Multiplayer) Menu becomes unresponsive after switching level without an Internet connection and attempting to enable multiplayer session. 

- Game might freeze after suspending it shortly after booting. 

- Launching game while offline turns cross-play setting to off. 

Epic Games

- Multiple menus can open if the Touch Pad/View button is pressed.

- Players may be unable to join the Multiplayer session after accepting an invitation. Join using Social Overlay or Room Code.
