How to Run the Game as Administrator

Running your game as Administrator can sometimes help resolve launch or permission issues by giving it extra system access.
 

Here’s how to do it depending on where you installed your game: 

Steam 

1. Open your Steam Library. 
2. Right-click the game → choose Properties. 
3. Go to the Installed Files tab → click Browse (or “Browse Local Files”) to open the game folder. 
4. Find the main game .exe file.
5. Right-click it → select Properties → open the Compatibility tab. 
6. Tick Run this program as an administrator → click Apply, then OK. 
7. Launch the game from Steam as normal. 

Epic Games Launcher 

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher → go to Library. 
2. Click the three dots … on your game → choose Manage → then Open Install Location. 
3. In the folder, find the game’s .exe file. *
4. Right-click → Properties → Compatibility tab. 
5. Tick Run this program as an administrator → Apply → OK. 
6. Launch the game from Epic as usual.

Xbox App  

1. Open the Xbox App → click on the game in your Library. 
2. Click the three dots … → Manage → then Files → Browse. 
3. Locate the game’s .exe file. * 
4. Right-click → Properties → Compatibility tab. 
5. Tick Run this program as an administrator → Apply → OK. 
6. Launch the game from Xbox App.
